I'm not interested in writing bills or hearing people drone on about policies but we have a problem, America. Over the past decade, there has been a major shift from politics being about policy to politics being about human rights. I've watched Republicans create culture wars by attacking anyone who doesn't look or think like them only to turn around and point the finger across the aisle. It's not normal for politicians to control what happens to someone else's body, bank account or bedroom, yet that's where we are.
